Buckshaw Village is a new development found on the site of the old ROF in Euxton. Much of the construction work is now complete and comprises of a combination of stunning new homes, together with a wide range of employment and leisure facilities.

The Village centre consists of a range of architecturally designed homes in courtyard mews and informal street settings.

Plans have been prepared for a full range of leisure, community, sporting facilities and shops. A new railway station with park and ride improvements is also proposed.

There will be an extensive network of green place, mature woodland and thousands of new trees. A series of footpaths and cycle ways, plus traffic calming schemes are also planned.
